HI THERE, I’M Alana!
I’m a freelance, Chicago-based, social media manager and visual designer. I’m passionate about connecting with people through branding and design and I believe social media is the intersection of these two things. I specialize in Tik Tok and Instagram and believe in an analytic-backed, SEO driven content strategy and creating a mix of “evergreen” content in addition to staying up to date on current trends.

Discovery Call
Let’s chat! I want to get to know you and your brand. In this call we will discuss the current state of your social media presence, any challenges you’ve been facing and what your goals are.
Brand Proposal + Contracts
Once I get a sense of what you’re looking for I will put together three custom package options that address all your social media management needs and goals. We will go over each package, determine what is right for you, and I will send over a contract and an invoice for you to sign.
Content Creation
Now it’s time for us to create a bank of content that I will be able to pull from to create your content. I offer content creation services where I can come to your location once a week and create content. If your business already invests in photo and video services you can start sharing those with me through Google Drive or Dropbox. This step often takes the longest but it pays off in the end!
On-Boarding
Now its time to get to business. I will create a detailed social media strategy for your brand, a content calender, and an editorial calendar. We will be getting your accounts set up on our management platforms so that I will be able to submit posts for approval, schedule posts and view analytics. It is important that you approve content in a timely manner so we are able to move on to the next stage
Posting
Last step, best step! The last step is where we begin posting to your socials. Once I begin posting I will monitor your account’s analytics and at the end of the month present an analytics report. At the same time I will be working on next month’s calendar so we always stay 1 step ahead in out strategy.

01 // What platforms do I work with?
Instagram and Tik Tok! Those are the platforms that I manage for businesses. I work mostly with visual media as a designer so platforms like X (Twitter) aren’t really my area of expertise.
02 // What do I use to create Content?
I use either an iPhone 11 or a Sony ZV-1 digital camera. There’s a time and place for both and we can discuss that once we get into your strategy.
